Account verification failed: why documents get rejected and how to fix it
Account verification usually fails for one of three reasons: the photo of the document can't be read, the details on it don't match your profile, or the name on your bank account differs from your registered name. The rejection message in your account tells you which. Fix that one thing, then upload again through the verification section of your account on slotkaki.org.

Why verification documents get rejected
This is the Know Your Customer (KYC) check. Its purpose is to make sure the person withdrawing money really owns the account. For a first withdrawal, the full name, bank account, phone number and email must all match the account holder.
| Type of problem | Examples | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Unreadable | Blurred, glare from a lamp, too dark | Take a new photo in good light |
| Incomplete | Corners cut off, only one side | Keep all four corners in frame |
| Mismatch | Name or date of birth differs from the profile | Ask support to correct the profile first |
| Not valid | Expired document, edited copy | Use the original, current document |
- Open the verification or profile section of your account and read the full rejection message.
- Match it to a row in the table above.
- Fix only that cause before uploading again, so you know exactly what changed.
Blurry, glaring or cropped photos
This is the easiest cause to fix. The reviewer has to read every letter and number without guessing.
- Lay the document on a flat, plain, dark surface such as a table.
- Use daylight or room lighting. Turn the flash off, because it bounces off laminated cards like the MyKad.
- Hold the phone parallel to the document rather than at an angle, with all four corners inside the frame.
- Tap the screen to focus, then zoom into the photo to check the small print is sharp.
- Skip filters, stickers and editing apps. Don't send a screenshot from a messaging app either, since those images are compressed.
- If the account asks for both sides, photograph each side separately.
The name on the document differs from the bank's
Your profile name, the name on the document and the name on the bank account have to agree. If one of them differs, even a perfect photo will be rejected.
- Write the three names side by side: as in the profile, as on the MyKad, and as in your banking app.
- Look for differences such as "Mohd" against "Mohammad", a dropped "bin", or names in a different order.
- If the profile is wrong, ask support to correct it. The full name is normally set at sign-up; registration help shows how those details are entered.
- If the bank account isn't in your name, replace it with a personal account of your own. A family member's account is refused even with their permission.
Phone number or email still unconfirmed
Sometimes the document passes, yet the profile stays incomplete because the phone or email hasn't been confirmed.
- Look for an "unverified" marker next to the phone number or email in your profile.
- Request the code or confirmation link from inside the account, and type the code into the account screen yourself.
- Never give an SMS code to anyone. SlotKaki staff never ask for your password or an OTP.
- If the code doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and your phone signal, then request it again after a few minutes.
Uploading your documents again, safely
- Log in through the right address. Start from slotkaki.shop and make sure you are on slotkaki.org before uploading anything.
- Open the verification section of the account and upload the new photos. Don't send documents over Telegram or email unless the instructions inside your account ask for it.
- Wait for the status to update. The review time is shown in your account and can vary.
- Avoid uploading the same file repeatedly while the status is still under review.
- Once approved, submit a new withdrawal request. If it still stalls, see withdrawal pending or rejected.
If someone contacts you first and asks for a photo of your MyKad or a bank statement, treat it as a scam. Report it to the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) on 997 and to your bank. Terms such as KYC and profile verification are defined in payment and account terms.
If it still fails: contact live chat after logging in and give your username, the upload date and the exact rejection message. Attach a screenshot of that message, not a photo of the document.
Frequently asked questions
Why does SlotKaki need account verification before a withdrawal?
Verification makes sure money goes to the real account owner and not to someone who gained access to the account. It is required for a first withdrawal, and the full name, bank account, phone number and email must all match the account holder.
How long does a document review take?
The review time is shown in your account and can vary with the time of day and the number of requests. Uploading repeatedly won't make it faster. If the status hasn't changed after the stated time, contact support with your username and the upload date.
Can I use my spouse's bank account to pass verification?
No. The bank account must be in the SlotKaki account holder's own name. A spouse's, relative's or company account will make verification fail and hold up withdrawals, even if its owner agrees to it.
