How to close your account or self-exclude, and what happens next

You can close your account, take a cooling-off break or ask for self-exclusion through your account settings or through support. If the reason is that gambling has started to feel hard to control, self-exclusion is usually the stronger choice, because it blocks access for a fixed period. It is a decision worth respecting, and the steps are simple.

Closure, cooling-off or self-exclusion: which one fits?

All three stop you playing, but they differ in strength. Self-exclusion is a block you request yourself so that you cannot play for a set period, and it is designed not to be easy to reverse.

OptionWhat happensSuits you if
Cooling-off breakAccess is blocked for a short period you chooseYou want to pause and think things over
Self-exclusionAccess is blocked for a longer period, usually with no early cancellationYou find it hard to stop, or often play beyond your budget
Account closureThe account is deactivated at your requestYou no longer want to use the platform for other reasons

The periods on offer and the exact rules for each option are shown in your account or explained by support. We don't list them here because they can change. If you still want to play but with tighter control, the deposit limits and time reminders on I want to control my play may be enough.

How to request closure or self-exclusion

  1. Sign in through slotkaki.shop and open the responsible gaming section or your account settings.
  2. If a break or self-exclusion option is there, choose the period and confirm. Read the summary on screen before you press the final button.
  3. If you can't see the option, open live chat and write plainly, for example "I want to self-exclude for six months" or "Please close my account".
  4. You can also email [email protected] from your registered address. You don't have to explain why unless you want to.
  5. Ask for written confirmation that the request has been carried out, and keep a screenshot of it.

A few small steps make the decision easier to stick to: uninstall the app, delete your bookmarks and unsubscribe from promotional messages. The guide to uninstalling the app and clearing account data safely shows how. If bonus offers keep arriving after you asked to be excluded, tell support.

Money still left in the account before closing

Before the account closes or the exclusion begins, deal with whatever balance is left.

  1. Check the balance and whether any bonus is still active. Bonus money and deposited money may be handled differently.
  2. Withdraw first if you can. The usual conditions still apply: every deposit needs at least 1x turnover, and the first withdrawal needs a verified profile.
  3. If the balance can't be withdrawn because a condition hasn't been met, ask support how it will be handled before you confirm the request.
  4. Make sure any withdrawal in progress has completed, or ask staff to confirm its status.

There is a familiar temptation to play the last of the balance "down to zero" before stopping. If the decision is made, it is easier to stop now and leave the balance question to support.

When the self-exclusion period runs out

Before going back, answer a few questions honestly. Has the reason you stepped away actually changed? Will you set deposit limits and time reminders from day one? Would playing use money that is needed for something else? If the answers are unclear, extending the exclusion is a sensible choice.

Don't open a new account during an exclusion. Besides breaking the one-person, one-account rule, it undoes a decision you made to protect yourself.

Help outside the platform for you and your family

Closing an account is one step. Talking to someone can help with the next one, and you don't need to wait until things feel serious.

If you are unsure whether gambling has become a problem, signs it is time to stop gambling, and who can help lists the common signs.

If it still fails: if your request hasn't been carried out, send it again from your registered email with your username, the date of your first request, the option you asked for (closure, a break or self-exclusion, with the period) and screenshots of the earlier conversation. Leave out your password and any OTP.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel self-exclusion early?

Usually not. Self-exclusion is designed so it can't be reversed at the moment the urge to play is strongest. Support explains the exact rules when you make the request, so ask first if you are unsure which period suits you.

What is the difference between a cooling-off break and self-exclusion?

A cooling-off break is a short block that lets you pause and think. Self-exclusion lasts longer and is firmer, which suits you if gambling feels hard to control. Both can be requested in your account settings or through support.

What happens to my balance if I close my account?

Withdraw the balance first if the withdrawal conditions are met, including at least 1x turnover on every deposit. If that isn't possible, ask support how the balance will be handled before you confirm the closure.
